In collaboration with my husband—who is also a graphic designer—I directed and helped design our wedding invitations. By utilizing our artistic talent, we used this project as an opportunity to express our individuality and fun-loving nature. Each invitation was carefully assembled by hand, piece-by-piece, before adding unique finishing touches.
After personally designing the return address stamp and wax seal stamp, the files were prepared and forwarded to outside vendors for the items to be produced. I researched how to use both tools and learned how to obtain professional results. I also taught myself calligraphy in order to handwrite the addresses on the outer envelopes to keep the majority of the project “in-house.”
